Palamos, Spanish Fishing Boat

Small wooden fishing boats like OcCre’s Palamos still work the waters off the ancient town of Palamos on Spain’s Costa Brava (Wild Coast), bringing in the catch at day’s end.

Plank-on-bulkhead kit by OcCre features pre-cut wooden parts and double planked hull. Deck house and furnishings are also planked in wood. Brass fittings include winch drums, running lights, antenna, pulleys, rings, rudder hinge and blade shaft. Hawse, propeller, mooring rope leads, winch supports and wheels, galley funnel, lifebuoy, lantern, cleat and other small parts are cast metal. Cotton rigging, wooden display cradle and metal nameplate complete the kit. Large plan sheet, “can’t miss” photographic instructions and full parts list make for easy building of your Palamos ship model.
