The Lilla Dan is a beautiful throwback to a bygone era. A 35-meter topsail schooner built in 1951 by J. Lauritzen as a training ship, she has been with the company ever since. Taken out of service as a training vessel in 1996, she was completely renovated and put to work as a charter ship.

Today, the Lilla Dan offers companies and private groups a unique meeting place, with a maritime ambiance that inspires you to creative work, teambuilding activities or perhaps just relaxation. While onboard, you eat when you please. Her chef is an expert in her field and can make catering arrangements to serve your specific needs.

She is owned and operated by Shipowners J. Lauritzen A/S. The crew consists of four experienced seamen headed by Skipper Jesper Hjorth Johansen, who has more than 20 years of professional sailing experience. Our excellent crew will give you the opportunity to test your sailing skills during your voyage. “My heart belongs with this kind of ship” says skipper Johansen, “and the Lilla Dan allows me to share my enthusiasm and experience with others.”
