Description

KARL AND MARIE Charles and Marie is a very typical Baltic schooner, as she was often seen around the turn of the century. These small galleasses of 15 to 20 meters in length were used mainly for transporting goods along the coast. They had fore-and a very typical freighter wide body for much cargo space and good-natured sailing behavior.

The kit of Karl and Marie was developed especially for the beginners in the Historical Boats. Nevertheless, the final model does not looks like a beginner ship. The reason for this is the most detailed assembly instructions. The modeler is here not spared any particularly difficult work, but particularly explained in detail, so that the building is fun and leads to success for anyone who some technical skill and patience.

An optional set of pre-sewn sails is available for this kit.
