Information
Grimmershorn Kit (KR21440)
The Grimmershrn was built in the years 1956/57 at the Hansa-Werft in Cologne-Deutz. It was stationed in the port of Cuxhaven and was used both as a tarmac and as a pilot’s boat. A few years ago she was sold to a private man who had the ship completely rebuilt. Our model was constructed according to the shipyard plans and corresponds to the construction of 1957.
The later conversions were deliberately not considered. The model has a high load capacity and is optimally suited to take up special functions due to its hull volume. The model kit contains ABS parts for the hull, deck and bulwark dressing, milled plywood parts for the superstructures, all fittings, shaft with steering tube and rudder set. Electric motors, lacquers and adhesives are not included in the kit.
