Built in 1893 for the “Norwegian Society for Shipwreck Salvage” at the Colin Archer shipyard in Rrkkrvig near Larvik, Norway, RS-1 was later named “Colin Archer” after it’s designer and builder. The Billing Boats model is suitable for remote control installation. Each model is equipped with a numbered and signed certificate.

Hull is ABS Plastic, with wood decking, masts, booms, spars and deck houses. Some wood parts are laser cut.

Included are complete fittings in white metal, brass, photo-etched brass and plastic, rigging line, silk flags, printed sail cloth and prop with shaft and stuffing box for an auxiliary electric motor.

This is an excellent kit for those with good experience.
