Ship Modeler’s Shop Notes II Nautical Research Guild

Ship Modeler’s Shop Notes II, from the Nautical Research Guild, is a companion volume to the well known 1979 book, Ship Modeler’s Shop Notes.

Similar to the first volume, this is a compilation of articles, shop notes and historical information previously published in the Nautical Research Journal. The new book contains entries selected from Volumes 26 through 50 (1981 – 2005) of The Nautical Research Journal. Like the previous volume, it gives advice on which models to build, how to equip your workshop, and guides you through every phase of construction from laying the keel to finishing a museum quality model.

The book contains nearly 170 articles written by notables such as Howard Chapelle, Harold M. Hahn, Ben Lankford, Dana McCalip and others. Contains 9 plans, plus many photographs and line drawings. 216 pp. spiral bound.

This is something that is a great reference for the experienced modeler as well as a wonderful source of knowledge for the beginner.
