Model Shipway's Speakeasy model is based a 1921 design a 36' rumrunner launch powered by a 450HP V-12 Liberty engine. Plank-on-frame construction with laser-cut basswood offers a simple building method. Self-aligning, interlocking parts assure a straight and accurate hull. Finely cast Britannia metal, brass and hardwood fittings create authentic detail. A powerful Mabuchi RS-540 electric motor, stern tube, propeller shaft and propeller are also included. Instructions contain many assembly photos and explain how to install the R/C equipment. A laser cut display stand completes the kit. Clear plans and a step-by-step instruction manual take you to a beautiful finish.
