WARNING: THIS KIT GENERATES LIVE STEAM AND USES AN OPEN FLAME FOR OPERATION. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN.
 
Specially designed for Midwest's Fantail Launch II and Elliott Bay Steam Launch but is also suitable for other models up to 24" in length.
 
Completely pre-soldered vertical boiler made from copper components with brass exhaust stack, pressure relief valve, brass boiler jacket and bands, insulation material and mahogany lagging.
 
Single cylinder oscillating engine with a cast bronze mainframe with brass bushings and machined brass flywheel, piston and cylinder assembly.
 
Designed to be assembled by someone with no prior metal or wood working experience. It does require the use of solder and a propane torch.
 
Mounts on 3"x5" mahogany base
Estimated speed of boat: 3-4 knots
Boiler holds 3 oz. of tap water
Uses "Sterno" for fuel
Runs for 10-15 minutes
