Seguin R/C (Radio Control) Tugboat 1884

The Seguin Tugboat was launched in Maine in 1884. Named after Seguin Island at the mouth of the Kennebec River, the Seguin at one time was our nation’s oldest operating steam powered tugboat. This highly detailed model is surprisingly easy to build.  Whether you are cruising around the pond, or just displaying it on your mantle, everyone will be impressed by the size, quality and sheer beauty of this 19th Century tugboat.

The sturdy gel-coated fiberglass hull readily accepts an innovative R/C equipment platform for precise placement of servo, speed control, receiver, batteries and electric motor.

All necessary running hardware comes with the kit, which includes scale brass prop, bushed stuffing tube, stainless steel prop shaft, 12-volt high-torque motor and prop shaft coupler.

The Seguin has been engineered to make your R/C boating experience fun! Access to all equipment is guaranteed thanks to the removable pilothouse and rear hatch.
