This is a typical Elizabethan Galleon warship of the Elizabethan period. That was the era of the privateers, when private ship owners could roam all over the ocean and plunder enemy vessels, with the consent of the Queen. On one of these Elizabethan galleons sailed the famous corsair Sir Francis Drake.
